Manchester United Transfer Rumours Has Man City In on Samir Nasri
For the longest time, Samir Nasri has been linked to Manchester United.
The Premier League champions have targeted the talented Frenchman as the Gunners have failed to ink the midfielder to a long-term contract.
With Arsene Wenger looking to make drastic changes to the roster and not wanting to lose his young player for nothing, rumors of a sale have been in the wind.
Wenger has said he would not sell to Manchester United, and he may live up to that word, as rumors of a sale to the Red Devils have given way to a new round of news that has linked Manchester City to the midfielder.

Per Sky Sports:
He has yet to put pen to paper on a new contract in North London, with his current terms set to expire next year.
Manchester United were previously tipped as frontrunners to secure Nasri's signature, but it seems big-spending local rivals City have now taken pole position in the race to sign him.
The Blues are also reportedly close to capturing Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy, while Gunners captain Cesc Fabregas is expected to leave this summer, meaning manager Arsene Wenger could be left without several of his key players next season.

Keeping Nasri out of Man U's clutches would be preferred to Wenger and the supporters of the Gunners, who are not fond of the Red Devils, to say the least.You never want to improve the defending league champion, who has already made major moves in the transfer market, by forking over one of your top young midfielders, even if it's for a large infusion of cash.
Plus, you know City would pony up the dough needed to land Nasri, especially if it means sticking it to Manchester United in the process.
Man City loves to flash the cash, and with Nasri being a young player with a ton of potential and upside, the Blues would see this as a long-term investment, giving the club a creative, quick passer to combine with Tevez on the offensive end.
Everyone knows that City will stack the box with it's formidable defense and smother any offensive attack.
If the club uses the transfer window to add potent offensive threats to the pitch, then it could start rising up the league table and become a serious player on numerous stages of play.
However, just because these rumors are floating around, it doesn't mean Man U is dead in the water because Sir Alex Ferguson isn't going to give up that easily.
Nasri is the type of player the Red Devils covet and obviously value him highly if they have pursued him this long.
Nasri's future may lie in a bidding war which will give the Gunners a chance to replenish the roster with so much turnover expected this offseason.
