Rio: Still work to do

The Reds may be within touching distance of a place in a third Champions League final in four years, but Rio Ferdinand insists United still have a job to do against Schalke tonight.

Goals from Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs in Germany last week have put United firmly in the driving seat in the last four tie, but Ferdinand won't be taking anything for granted in the return leg as Sir Alex's men aim to seal a spot at Wembley.
"You’ve got to approach it in the right manner and make sure no complacency creeps in," the defender told United Review.
"We played really well in Germany - I don't think many teams in the world could have dealt with our attacking play over there.
"But tonight is a different game altogether and we know we still have a job to do if we’re to get through to the final.
"Of course, it's hard [not to think about Wembley already] because it’s such a big thing and you’re so close, but that won’t get in the way of what we have to do.
"A lot of the players in our squad have played in Champions League semi-finals before so we know what to expect and the magnitude of the game won’t be a problem for us to handle."
